The best thing about it is, that the left overs can be eaten for breakfast - in the bath; take a spoon with you. And there is no packaging to dispose of!
Instead of soap, which can be drying to the skin (and then needs to be followed by toner to remove all traces of soap and then moisturiser to put back the oils you have just stripped out) I use a mix of yogurt and oats.
Just mix a small handful of porrage oats (I guess oatmeal would work too if you wanted a slightly more exfoliating mix) with some yogurt until you get a pas

Rinse it away with plenty of warm water and pat your face dry. There is no need to apply a moisturiser as this mixture will feed your skin as it works. It cleanses without drying, irritating or stripping your skin of vital moisture.
Oats have been used for centuries on the skin. They are very soothing, relieving irritation, inflammation and itching especially on dry skin. Oats make an excellent skin cleaner with a balanced pH for sensitive skins or when skin conditions like eczema make it impossible to use manufactured creams and soaps.
