Current eco achievments

i) I have now given up the dreaded bottled water and am using a Brita filter instead.
ii) We are using our car twice a week instead of about five times a week.
iii) The cat is off tinned food and onto 'real' food.
iv) We have cavity wall insulation - yay!
v) We are using a kettle on the woodburning stove instead of an electric one.
vi) We've fixed the shower and are using it instead of baths.
vii) We've insulated the conservatory roof.
Short term eco goals

(Over the next year)

i) Apply for planning permission for a solar panel.
ii) Research economical high-power LED options for home lighting and build our own system for the downstairs.
iii) Dig over the garden, plant and reap the harvest - organically of course!
iv) Insulate the bedroom walls.
v) Install a tankless water heater instead of using an immersion.
Long term eco goals

(over the next five years)

i) Switch to a green supplier for electricity.
ii) Install a more efficient wood burner.
iii) Install a small wind turbine.
