Save the rainforests by sending an e card
It’s so simple to do, and your card will brighten someone’s day!
With Father’s Day coming up, why not use this as an excuse to benefit the rainforests and your Dad?
There are some beautiful cards, depicting scenes of nature, cute animals and thoughtful messages to choose from.
According to greetings card makers Hallmark, Father’s Day is the fifth-largest card-sending holiday. That means lots of paper and card being generated and then thrown away. Even if you recycle paper, it can only be done five times before the fibres become too weak to reuse.
This is one simple way in which you can make a difference; in more ways than one. ![]()

This sounds great, but I can’t find any information on the RainforestSite about this. Do you know if it applies to certain cards only, and if so which ones? Could you provide links to a page with more information?
I like your blog by the way - some very uesful tips in here!

I can’t believe it - it’s all disappeared from the site. It was on this page when I wrote the article:
http://www.therainforestsite.com/clickToGive/sendecard.faces?siteId=4&link=ctg_trs_sendecard_from_home_leftnav
Right at the top of the page, but they’ve taken it off. I guess it really was for a limited time
Thanks for dropping by and I’m glad you are enjoying the blog,

Blink-and-you’ll-miss-it limited!
Oh well, WLT-US still benefits from the clicks from the RainforestSite - and the ecards are still worth sending!

Good Evening,
The e-cards are back using the link you have in your comments Mrs. Green. And I must say, they’re really quite nice!
Cheers.
