Submitted by Mrs Green on Friday, 27 March 2009 Loading Add to favourites  2 Comments

earth hourTomorrow is WWF’s Earth hour at 8:30pm. It’s a party to help the environment and everyone’s invited!

WWF want a billion people around the world to sign up and switch off their lights for one hour. It’s not just householders either; businesses and large buildings around the world are getting involved.

The aim is to kick start WWF’s global deal campaign which is to convince Governments across the world to agree to tackle climate change when they meet at the UN climate summit in Copenhagen, in December 2009.

930 cities and towns in 80 countries have already committed to VOTE EARTH for Earth Hour 2009, so it’s a party not to miss! Are you going to take part and use your light switch as your vote?

Vote earth by turning off your lights or Global Warming by leaving them on.
