inlight daily facial oil

I’ve been using the organic daily face oil by Inlight after being sent a product sample to review.

Over the past few weeks I had been using jojoba oil in my face as a moisturizer, so was used to the idea of using an oil rather than a cream. It takes a bit of getting used to at first and the concern is that you will end up with oily skin! Fortunately, this is not the case.

Smooth skin

My skin tends to be normal to dry. At this time of year, as we move into spring it goes through a particularly tight, dry, sensitive phase, so the facial oil provided welcome relief. You only need a couple of drops of this organic oil smoothed over your face as a little goes a long way. Inlight do not pack out their products with water or fillers, so the ingredients go right where you need them most and you end up with a quality, lasting product that works!

The oil is readily absorbed, making your skin feel instantly soothed and softened. Once my skin was looking less dry, I was able to use even less product.

Delightful scent

The smell is great – Inlight use essential oils of lavender, blue mallow, rose and vanilla for their anti inflammatory and moisturizing properties. Fortunately, these are soothing oils too, so if your skin is prone to being itchy or sensitive, you should be just fine with this facial oil.

The oil looks great on your bathroom shelf. It comes in a blue bottle and looks stylish and classic. Although it is better to keep the oil in a cool, dark place to prolong its life. The bottle arrived quickly after ordering in a small cardboard box. It was packed with packing peanuts which I am assured are made from food grade maize. Even these are non GM and approved by the Soil Association - such attention to detail! They dissolve right away in water and can be added to your compost heap.

Luxurious product

The Facial oil by Inlight is a beautiful and luxurious product; with a few key organic ingredients to nourish your skin. It’s the perfect way to pamper your skin on a daily basis.

The daily facial oil costs £22 and if you’re quick, you can grab yourself a free lip salve at the same time.

What about you – have you used oil as a moituriser? How did you get on?
