Educational Green Gardening Colouring Pages

potato-moss-green-colouring-pageI was contacted by Mark from Moss Green Children’s Books this week, telling me about their free colouring pages.

Little Miss Green has been through phases of colouring, although she tends to prefer to draw her own pictures.

however, from time to time she’ll ask me for some colouring pages and now that she’s older it’s quite difficult to find much for her age range.

The free downloadable colouring pages from Moss Green have four groups of illustrations which have different levels of complexity. This makes the illustrations suitable for different skill levels and ages.

What I like about these is, instead of them being cartoons or silly smiling animals, they are a bit more ‘real life’. They give you information about fruits and vegetables of the seasons and you’ll learn some simple facts such as when to sow, when to harvest, pests to look out for and how to prepare and eat the food in the kitchen!

The colouring pages are designed for fun and help parents teach their children about seasonal eating.

As a free educational and fun resource I think these images are great. And next time Little Miss Green gets the urge to get out her colouring pages, I’ll be heading over there to print some out. I only hope they keep adding to their range!
