In theory LEP's are easier to manufacture and may actually be "sprayed" onto a surface using the emerging technology of rapid prototyping. I was pleased to see that their website pointed to UK retailers, we're possibly a bit behing the US in this and they're quite hard to find. They have been used for years in retail lighting especially around make up containers so not to heat the make up. Glad its making the cross over into the home!
