Annika Sanders and Kerry Seager, creators of Junky Styling have launched their new diffusion line at edge retail collective

Junky styling is an exciting fashion label that recycles clothes. They caught my eye a few years ago when I started to get interested in the whole concept of  creative solutions to landfill waste.

Annika and Kerry were intrigued by the recycling they saw in places such as San Francisco and Tokyo. They were also inspired by the resourcefulness of people in Vietnam and Thailand. So much so, they decided to have a go themselves!

They began by scouring charity shops and jumble sales for second hand traditional suits to redesign into tailored garments.

Everything produced by Junky is recycled from the best quality second hand clothing, deconstructed, re-cut and completely transformed into a new, unique product. Their products are either recycled, fair trade, made from organic materials or ethically produced.

Ethical fashion

Edge is a designer’s collective set up to lead the way in sustainable fashion. Edge retail showcases well-established, independent brands from the ethical fashion world providing a one-stop shop for sassy, cutting edge products for men, women and children.
