My little girl and I tried a natural flu medicine for the flu this year called Fluendz because I was worried about us both taking the swine flu vaccine. I have to admit..it worked great and it was easy to give to my 3 year old because it’s just a oral spray.

Don’t forget the benefits of plain old hand washing–using old fashioned soap and water. As long as you do it long enough (count to 20), it is very effective. And if you use a natural soap you can avoid the problems associated with commercial products including SLS, preservatives and triclosan. Unknown to many people antibiotic products have been linked to increased antibiotic resistance (see CDC link below)
