When we are tired, its very boring to work. But one can go for some simple activities which will boost one's energy levels like: drink a glass of juice, it has carbs in it, sit straight, do some exercise, eat nuts and seeds, can sniff peppermint, chocolate is a good energy booster so one can eat some dark chocolates.

@yournontoxiclife: Interesting idea. Have you thought about what you are eating? I know a classic sign of food intolerance is to feel an energy slump after eating.
I also noticed, when Mr Green was on his high raw diet, he used to feel energised after eating, rather than sluggish.
I love the way you are looking at this though and working through it.

My favorite way to get energized is to keep busy during my known low-energy times: 2-3pm and 6:30-7:30pm. As you can see it's right after lunch and dinner. Since I know this about me, I try not to sit down during these times, for any length of time unless it's to do structured work.
I also have had good success with Brain Yoga.

@Wilson Pon: Hi Wilson ahh yes cinnamon tea; I bet that tastes wonderful; so soothing and warming, but I can understand how it would boost energy too.
Thank you! Definitely one for a warming winter drink.

Mrs. Green, the Cinnamon tea is also good to boost up our energy. Beside that, it's good for controlling the high blood pressure too!

@Goo: :D you made me laugh, but I have to say with a rye smile (and one who has just eaten her dinner whilst reading emails) that this is so typically Western of us.

Ho hum, we'll get there. I am now doing yoga BEFORE putting the computer on in the morning, so that's a step in the right direction.

Ok, I've just tried to do all four of the Qi Gong exercises in 30 seconds whilst sitting in front of the computer! I've got that a bit wrong haven't I Mrs Green? No wonder I get energy lows when I'm always rushing everything. I promise to go away and do it properly. Thanks for the tips!
