Soil Association organic fortnight for all things organic - food, clothing and beauty products.I can’t believe it’s this time of year again! The Soil Association’s Organic fortnight is upon us. It began on Saturday 6th September and runs until 21st, so there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

There are events taking part up and down the country, which will be your chance to  enjoy things such as eco fashion shows (organic isn’t just about food!, healthy eating events at schools, food tasting, sampling organic beauty products, gardening courses, beer festivals, walks and even autumn picnics.
If you can’t get along to anything, then don’t worry; you can still celebrate.

Why not:

1- Sign up for an organic vegetable box scheme - find details on the fabulous veg-box recipe site.

2- Visit a local farm shop to buy organic produce and cook a celebratory meal. Find your nearest farm shop here.

3- Commit to spending a certain percentage of your weekly budget on organic food.

4- Treat yourself to an organic item of clothing or beauty product. Try Natural collection for a great range of ideas.

5- Sign up for an allotment or prepare the soil in your own garden for growing some organic food.
