Planing a natural wedding?

eco wedding by louise moonSeasonal, eco chic, vintage, DIY – if these words spring to mind when planning your wedding I have a treat for you!

Louise Moon has written “The Natural Wedding Book”, published by Sawdays. When you bear in mind a wedding can be all about love for your partner, but an assult on the earth, Louise is about to be your fairy Godmother.

The average wedding produces twice the amount of carbon footprint as a couple use in a whole year of ‘normal’ living!

By planning a greener celebration, for example using vintage gowns, seasonal flowers or organic food you can dramatically reduce your wedding footprint and say ‘I love you’ to the earth as well.[amazon-product align=”right” small=”1″]1906136459[/amazon-product]

You might be forgiven for thinking you will have to compromise on style, but not so. Louise shows you how to weave together eco and chic to make your wedding a dream come true.

You’ll discover how to plan the perfect wedding as her book includes all you need to know – from invites, venues, flowers to the cake and honeymoon she’s got it covered.

The photographs are stunning and I positively devoured the book in one sitting! Louise’s ideas are amazing; she is so creative and passionate about her topic. There is something for every budget and there are plenty of ideas you will not have thought of. Louise even covers the tiniest details such as how to attach photos to the album in the most eco friendly way!

If you’re a bride to be and care about the environment or want an original and unique wedding you will not be disappointed with this book.

How fabulous! If I were getting married I’d love to read this book – it’s right up my ally. My wedding was very green, and it was extremely beautiful – a day I’ll always remember, plus we were kind to the earth and created practically no waste. 😉

@Michelle: Glad you had a lovely day, Michelle; it means so much when we can love the earth too 😉
