More Eco loyalty rewards with green vouchers

more eco for green rewards and loyalty points
Every time I fill up my car with diesel I’m given loyalty points. I can exchange these for vouchers from Argos, M&S or virgin airmiles.

These don’t exactly inspire me as gifts, but I guess they make useful Christmas presents for some people. Being an ethical gal, I’d like ethical rewards; but then I guess the whole point is that filling my car with diesel isn’t an ethical practise…………

What I would like is to be rewarded (because after all, it’s supposed to be a reward and therefore pleasurable) with something that is meaningful to me and supports some of my values and beliefs. Some kind of eco friendly scheme with more sustainable rewards.

I think I might just have found the answer with MoreEco.

The brain child of Mark Philip-Sorenson, MoreEco rewards people with points for making green purchases from some of the UK’s finest green, organic, natural and environmental online retailers.

Once you’ve collected enough points, you can redeem these for eco products and vouchers. Alternatively, you can purchase carbon offsets or donate your points to charity.

If you shop at places such as Natural Collection, Nigel’s Eco Store or Greenfibres anyway, than you have nothing to lose and points to gain by purchasing through MoreEco. The prices you pay for goods are exactly the same as if you shopped direct.

If you want to get yourselves a head start and earn yourself some MoreEco points then we have several thousand to give away on our Zero Waste website.

Read here to find out how you can earn yourself some MoreEco rewards.

I for one wish MoreEco every success with their venture. It’s about time people were rewarded for making ethical purchases with ethical rewards. I think this is a wonderful idea and think it has great chances of catching on.

MoreEco have had some great coverage on the web this week on a couple of my favourite blogs; Hippy Shopper and Eco Street.

If you run a green blog or ethical website; why not give MoreEco a mention? If you mention our zero waste site too, you can earn yourself 200 MoreEco points. Come back here and tell me when you’re done!
