Lots of chocolate, but not for eating
What’s a girl to do when she gets sent a set of chocolatey goodies? Slather her skin in them, that’s what!
National Chocolate Week runs from 11th-17th October and here’s a great way to indulge in your favourite treat without putting on an ounce!
Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics have come to our rescue again with enough chocolate-based products to give you your fix whilst leaving you feeling fantastic!
LUSH use many ingredients derived from the cocoa bean because they are so beneficial and inspiring. Cocoa butter forms the base of their massage bars and emulsions.
Cupcake facemask
Their Cupcake facemask wouldn’t be the same without cocoa powder. Cupcake also contains deep cleansing Rhassoul mud to absorb excess oils on the skin, Fair Trade cocoa butter to moisturize and soften and spearmint and peppermint oils to gently stimulate. I’m a great fan of rhassoul clay, so I’ll definitely be giving this one a go.
Whipstick lip balm
The Whipstick lip balm contains cocoa absolute, making it one of the tastiest and most beneficial balms available. The cocoa absolute is blended with oat milk, shea butter, wheatgerm, almond and olive oils to smooth and soften lips. There’s even real dark chocolate in this one. Just don’t go licking it all off!
Soft Coeur massage bar
Soft Coeur massage bar is heart shaped and deliciously chocolatey – the perfect gift for your loved one. Made from fair trade, organic cocoa butter and shea butter, inside this heart you’ll find the soft, molten chocolate centre.
Mange Too massage bar
Mange Too massage bar is a blend of white chocolate, honey and fresh bananas, with softening and moisturising fair trade cocoa butter, shea butter and mango butter and takes me right back to my childhood. This hexagonal bar melts into the skin leaving a sweet, caramac scent you might be tempted to lick clean.
Ma Bar bubble bar
Ma Bar bubble bar is an irresistible toffee and chocolate bubble bar containing two of my favourite de-stressing oils; bergamot and orange oil.
