Purepotions Skincare natural skincare creams and salves for eczema, psoriasis, and dry skinI have to admit, I’m not like most mainstream people when it comes to skincare.

While during my teens I sprayed body sprays and perfumes every few hours to ‘top up’ the smell, I’m now very sensitive to artificial fragrances.

It’s not unusual for me to step out into the street and grimace as someone wafts pass in a cloud of aftershave, or find a neighbour’s line of washing assaults my nose.

It’s not easy being this sensitive I can tell you – the world isn’t cut out for people like me!

Even many of the most natural brands of skincare use masses of fragrance to brand their products.

That’s why I was delighted to discover Purepotions – an award winning brand made in the UK. They sell a range of natural skincare creams and salves for eczema, psoriasis, and dry skin.

You know how it is – the first thing you do is take the top off the product and give it a good sniff.

Well, the purepotions range I was sent has little, if any smell.

And believe me I have the tenacity of an Alsation when it comes to sniffing out that one part per million!

As with many of the most successful companies, Purepotions was set up in desperation.  Natalie couldn’t find gentle enough products for her daughter’s eczema, so started to make her own.

The rest is history!

I admire Natalie’s holistic approach. On her site she doesn’t just deal with skin, but understands that what you put on the inside, is often reflected on the outside. She advocates drinking lots of fresh water and suggests making sure your diet includes essential fatty acids and doesn’t rely on junk food. You are what you eat, after all!

Purepotions are focusing now on a hair care range. They say their products are as mild and gentle as the “no shampoo” craze for detergent-free haircare that has been sweeping the world. This could make this range a suitable ‘transition’ product if you’re not ready to go completely ‘No Poo‘!

With the entire range made from plant-based, 100% biodegradable raw materials with herbal extracts to nourish and protect, there’s something for everyone. If you, or a family member, suffers from over sensitive skin, or you just want to reduce your reliance on conventional products, why not check out Purepotions. If you’re eager to get away from overly scented products, you’ll love these!
