How often do you find a gorgeous, natural, safe and effective beauty product that is a pleasure to use? How often do you find a product that you would guard with your life and know you can never be without again!?
We all know that we need to avoid the toxic chemicals found in some beauty products such as SLS, parabens and synthetic fragrances. But finding an organic, natural and pure product to replace the ones we use can be a bit of a challenge.
There are, however, more and more companies addressing our needs for sustainable, healthy and safe products to keep us looking young and beautiful.
The lovely Peter from Balaton Spa sent me his luxurious face spa mask to try. Well, not his you understand; although I’m sure he would if I asked him – he’s such an amenable chap.
I found myself raving about it from the moment it touched my skin. It’s soothing and you can really feel it working. It’s got that ‘doing me good’ smell too – rich and earthy and full of nature’s goodness.
Suitable for all
Whether you have normal, problem, combination, young or mature skin; this is the product for you. And it’s not just for the ladies either. It simply wouldn’t be fair of us to hog it for ourselves now would it?[amazon-product align=”right” small=”1″]1905744234[/amazon-product]
A facelift in a jar?
I know we’re all sceptical about such claims, but I believe in the power of nature to deliver us all that we want and need. And deliver it she does, with the help of Peter’s loving hands.
According to Trinny and Susannah and Gok Wan, you’ve just found yourself a face lift in a jar and who am I to argue?
Yes, we’re all fed up of the ‘100% natural’ claims that mean nothing, but this product really is 100% natural! Derived from moorland peat and moor water, it’s packed full of skin quenching and purifying ingredients to cleanse and refine dull and tired looking skin.
The product comes from the lowland Moorland Areas in Europe. These areas have been formed over the course of some 20,000 years, through the decomposition of 100s of herbs, plants, grasses and flowers, as well as vitamins, trace elements and minerals.[amazon-product small=”1″]1856267350[/amazon-product]
The Balaton Spa face mask includes ingredients such as burdock which has proved to be an effective treatment for many chronic skin conditions including psoriasis and eczema; mallow, one of the oldest healing plants and well known for for its soothing and anti-inflammatory effect and chickweed, which has been used in folk medicine for skin conditions such as chapped skin, itchy skin and inflammatory skin conditions.
That’s 3 down, 328 to go. The 331 ingredients (yes really!) are all clearly listed so you know exactly what you are putting onto your skin.
I have to admit, one of my first questions was about sustainability, but my concerns were soon put to one side.
Peter explained that the moor peat they use regenerates itself by a quarter of a millimetre each year as long as there is rainfall and there is ample of that in Hungary!
Now that doesn’t sound like a lot, but when you consider that the Moor Peat covers an area of 20 square miles; it’s a considerable amount.
It is estimated that there is enough Moor for the next 800 years, so it’s not an endangered supply at all. The Moor is also literally harvested NOT Manufactured, using local labour, so I suppose you could also claim that it’s a fair trade product too!
Grab it while you can
Peter is running a special offer on the face mask while stocks last. You can order it for £19.99, instead of £24.99, and you’ll receive the Balaton-Spa Travel bag containing 6 travel products worth another £24.99 absolutely free!
Don’t miss it ladies and gents; this really is a treat that you deserve.
