No arms, no legs; no worries …

Nick Vujiviv born without arms or legs but a heart full of love and inspirationThis morning the sun is shining, the birds are singing, there isn’t a cloud in the sky. I have food in the cupboards, water running from my tap, a beautiful daughter and a gorgeous husband.

But …

I’m thinking about all the things I have to do, the fact I feel stressed, my neck is aching, I’m hungry (but feel I don’t have time to eat until I’ve finished the next thing …)

Do you recognise yourself here or is it just me?

Do you know you will happy when you’ve … paid off the mortgage, got the perfect partner, had a promotion, bought a new car, booked a holiday, lost some weight?

Or are you happy and grateful right now in this moment?

So many of us spend our lives wishing that we did or didn’t have the things we do or don’t have (did you get that?!)

We put happiness on hold until we’ve achieved our perception of a perfect life. We tell our kids they have a ‘grass is always greener’ attitude, but ya know, maybe they get it from watching us 😉

This morning, as I was thinking about my aching neck, my hungry stomach and all the busy things I had to do, a gift arrived. I came across the most inspirational man I have ever come across. Nick Vujicic spoke to my heart and showed me we can choose happiness at any time. He’ll show you how to be thankful, to dream big and never give up

Please take 5 minutes out of your busy day to watch this amazing film. You will not be disappointed and it will change your day for the better – no matter what you are facing.

As Nick Vujici says “Motivation gets you through the day, but inspiration lasts a lifetime”.

That was so awesome. I’m glad I took the time to watch it at the start of my day.

I have seen a few of his film and each ones is just as powerful as the last. For me it is a real ‘pattern interupt’ – awakens me from my trance like ‘I am a victim’ mentality I sometimes find myself in. Thank you for sharing this, the more people that see this the better!

@Melodie: Glad you watched it too, Melodie; it’s such powerful stuff and his energy is amazing.

@russell davis: Oh I hear you on the victim mentality – this guy cuts right to the core of that belief doesn’t he! Glad you enjoyed it again Russell and always nice to see you on the site.
